So first thing I like to ask is what's the vision? And to my surprise, I get deer in the headlights. Typically there is no vision. They'll tell me about what their product or their service is. They'll tell me about how long they've been in business, but they're not giving me a clear defined vision. I think we'll. How the heck do you get your customers to do business with you, let alone your employees to be inspired to keep running it? And so I always start there. I don't care about your metrics. I don't care about any of it. Because naturally, as the owner starts to extract, and typically we don't do it just with the owner, we bring the whole leadership team in. And then we ask the entire team to see if they buy into that. If they like the vision. Not that, are we doing it currently, because that's typically where employees are like, well we're not even close to that. But hey, if we were to go this direction, would you want to be a part of that? I do that because one thing I warn with every business owner is when you work with us, you might find that people are going to either be fired or quit very quickly because they're not going to want to buy into the culture you're setting. Because it's become very, we call them mechanical mics, like they just are very robotic to where we're just clocking in and clocking out. So first thing is a vision. And once we have the vision, then we start going down and chunking is like, okay, how many of your current. KPIs and metrics are measuring to hit that vision and typically we find that there's quite a few that are missing.
